Nigeria’s Blaqbonez excites revellers at Jameson Hangout 2023 Finale

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule aka Blaqbonez treated revelers to a great performance at the Jameson Hangout 2023 finale last Saturday evening at Ndere Centre, leaving revelers yearning for more.

The 27-year-old took to the stage, clad in a white shirt, black shorts, and a casual jacket, being welcomed by loud cheers from the crowd who were eagerly waiting for him.

Being his first in the pearl of Africa, Blaqbonez didn’t know what to expect from Ugandans, away from the stories he had been hearing but the reception was enough to give him the confidence he needed to pull his performance through.

His choice of songs including ‘Like Ice Spice’, Wo Wo’, ‘Cinderella Girl’, and ‘Breaking the Yoke of Love’ was enough to drive the whole crowd crazy. They sang along to his songs, danced, and cheered for him as well. His performance can be summarized as energetic and entertaining.

He was however not the only performer during the chilly evening as Lilian Mbabazi had earlier taken the audience down memory lane with her days in Blu *3 and songs she did after going solo.

Adrenalyn Music and Mike Mungu had performed earlier in the day while deejays Alza, Hady, Heydez, Tony, and Adele Kiele were on the decks.

The Talen Africa-organized Jameson Hangout is a quarterly fest curated by Talent Africa with an array of interactive games, trend-setting pop-up shops, captivating musical performances, and mouth-watering barbecue delicacies.
